Ineco was involved throughout all stages of construction and testing on this 99-kilometre line which has reduced the travel time between Madrid and Zamora by more than 30 minutes.

The company worked on the railway installations on this section of the line, including the electronic, new generation signalling control points in Medina del Campo and in Zamora; enlargement of a section of the line in Olmedo; detection systems for falling objects, hot boxes and crosswinds (see article Whistle-blowers on the track).
