The project to modernise the Metro Medell\u00edn trains, in which Ineco is participating, has been awarded by the Antioquian Society of Engineers and Architects (SAI) as one of the most outstanding projects in Antioquian engineering in 2021. The company, which began collaborating with Metro Medell\u00edn in 2011, is carrying out the supervision of the fleet of 42\u00a0MAN trains. The project aims to extend the service life of these first-generation vehicles, which began operating in 1995 and were nearing the end of their useful life. The first eight modernised units are already in commercial operation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
