The commissioning of Metro de Quito’s first subway line is fast approaching. Ineco has supervised the construction of the 18 new trains built by Spanish company CAF, that in just a few short months will be providing service to the most ambitious and significant infrastructure project in the history of the city and will be helping to create a “place to be better citizens”.
Ineco has updated the Master Development Plans for the period 2020-2034 for 12 airports belonging to the Pacific Airport Group (GAP), which is partly owned by Aena Internacional. Against a background of strong growth in the Mexican aviation market, these plans will allow airports, including Guadalajara, sufficient capacity to meet increased demand.
Ineco has developed its own method of analysing human error, which, according to safety studies, accounts for 80% of all accidents and mistakes. The innovation project won the 2019 CANSO Global Safety Achievement Award and Ineco’s 2019 Innova Awards.
Ineco, commissioned by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda,
provided the supervision and monitoring of the works to construct the new La Gaznata bridge over the Burguillo reservoir in Ávila. The opening of the bridge means the end of the traffic bottleneck for users of the existing narrow arched bridge. The two structures represent 100 years of evolution in bridge design and construction.

Aena Internacional, the largest airport operator in the world in terms of passenger volume, has been awarded a 30-year concession to manage a group of airports in northeastern Brazil, a region with significant tourism and economic importance, especially the city of Recife. Developed by Ineco, it was a nominee for the 2019 Ponle Freno Awards and in 2018 won a an SDG prize awarded by the Rafael del Pino Foundation and the Spanish Global Compact Network.
Ineco is carrying out technical assistance and supervision on the eight new 2500 series trains that the company CRRC Sifang is manufacturing in Qingdao, China, for the São Paulo Metropolitan Railway Company (CPTM). The work is being carried out by the Consorcio Supervisor 8 Trenes (CS8T), which is made up of Ineco, Ineco do Brasil, Ebei and MetroEng.
